what's a good maker of Springform pans? My wife would like a 9" and 10" pan but I don't know which ones to avoid. Price is a factor so we might not want "the best" but knowing which ones to avoid is a bonus.

I swear by Kaiser springform pans from Germany. I've owned two for may years now and they have given me flawless service.

I recently had the chance to inspect Calphalon springform pans as well. They look like excelent quality pans.

Avoid lightweight steel springorm pans like the varieties sold on supermarket shelves and in Wal-Mart. They rust easily and just don't perform as well.

And remember, if you purchase good equipment in the beginnig, you only have to purchase it once.
