My daughter is updating her wedding registries and having a heck of a time finding iced tea spoons. We did fine one Mikasa set at one store and one Oxford set at another... but that's it. Just two sets? Is it really such an unusual item? If you have any clue what else they could be called, I'd appreciate hearing it!

We are talking about the extra-long teaspoons that you would use to stir your iced tea or (dare I say it? :brows: ) egg creams.

I have actually never heard of these, but maybe try searching for bar spoons as well. I am guessing they are not the same thing though. Iced tea spoons are probably a lot nicer looking.

I haven't seen any of those spoons since I was a little girl! My mom's old set had those in them. Basically just long handled spoons. We used to call them teaspoons! None of the cutlery sets here include those anymore. Maybe she could just register for shorter glasses! LOl! Good luck with your search!
