ISO: Glaze

Help! I made a terribly sweet cake, but the only way I'll get the family to eat it before it spoils is if I get a good glaze.
Any suggestions for a cake so sweet it almost tastes like a cookie?

i would ice it with some unsweetened whipped cream instead of a glaze.glaze will be sweet,so it'll only make it sweeter.

That's a great idea, Sara. I've tasted some bakery "candy bar cakes" that were iced with whipped cream, and they were great.
