Has anyone tried baking their ribs wrapped in plastic wrap, then wrapped in foil, the baked in the oven at 350?

Seems like they would end up being steamed ribs.

I've read a couple of Emeril's recipes that call for this as the first cooking step.... apparently just to seal in the juices more during this step.

I have a problem cooking anything in plastic even so called microwave safe.If you wrap it tight in foil it will do the same thing.
