rest his soul; what a loss.
my Dad raised us on Floyd (i'm 25). i can say some of my better days were spent listening to them at my Parent's mid-20's gatherings laden with drunken guests, or watching videos with my Dad as we shared alcoholic beverages (that alcohol when i was old 'nuff to drink; until then, it was non-alcoholic) , or watching 'the wall' with my pals as a teenager while under the influence of substances i shant name.
just called up my brother; he'd brought me into my city earlier & we were listening to 'shine on you....' on our way. right when he & his fiancee left, they heard of his passing. i'm listening to it now. beautiful song; excellent band.
people may pass on; beautiful music continues on as a vocal memior.
may he sleep peacefully.
I am also a Pink Floyd fan. Matter of fact I named the cat I got for my 7th birthday Floyd. Must go listen to Learning To Fly and Wish You Were Here now.
