ok heres my epidimed .. this recepie calls for
1 (3 1/2 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding 1/4 cup milk
but i have neither of those .. i do however have regular vanilla pudding cups ... could i use those . instead .. and if so .. how many cups .. and wouldnt that also let me not use milk .. cause my assumption was that the milk was to go with the instant pudding mix to make it into pudding ? .. anyone help me .. the recepie i am trying to make can be found here
http://www.recipezaar.com/108925

UPDATE .. i acutally just found vanilla pudding stuff .. the instant stuff i am sapposed to use ... now what can i use to substitute milk?

Just use water if you don't have any milk powder or something creamy you could pop a bit of water into. The liquid is there to bind it all together more than anything.

usually they say use milk powder, but I'm going to guess you don't have that.
I think you could use a starchy water (like reserved pasta water or something?) But I'm not sure. Looking at the recipe, that might not work.
Butter and water might be another option. It might be easier and turn out better if you found a way to get milk.
