Hamburger Helper
Brown one pound (more or less) of ground beef in a skillet.

Stir in 2 cups pasta or 1 cup rice or 2 cups sliced potatoes (dried is fine) and 2 cups water (use one cup if using fresh potatoes), 1/4 cup butter or margarine, and one of the sauce mixes below.

Pizza Spins

Use wheel shaped pasta, one can tomato sauce and 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning or 2 tablespoons of the following mixture.

1/4 cup crushed basil
1/4 cup ground oregano
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1/2 cup parsley

Cheeseburger Macaroni

Use macaroni and 1/4 cup of this mixture.

4 1/2 cups dehydrated cheese
2 2/3 tablespoons powdered milk
2 2/3 cups flour
2 teaspoons onion powder

Stroganoff

Use noodles or potatoes and 1/3 cup of the following mixture. Stir in 1/4 cup sour cream just before serving. (1/4 cup fresh or canned mushrooms may be used instead of dried, but put them in when you cook, not when preparing the mix for storage.)

4 cups powdered milk
4 cups flour
2 cups minced onion
1 cup beef bouillon
1/4 cup onion powder
4 cups dried mushrooms
2 tablespoons celery salt
 
Some more.

The following recipes are effective hamburger helper substitutes.
Seasoning (Makes enough for a few batches):

Mix together the following.

Ingredients:

1 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
2 Tablespoons dried parsley
1/2 cup instant onion
1 Tablespoon onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 2/3 cups fat-free dry milk powder
3 1/2 Tablespoons beef bouillon granules
Store in a jar with tight between uses.

Cheeseburger Casserole

Ingredients:

1 pound hamburger
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup uncooked macaroni
1 can chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup seasoning mix
2 cups of grated cheese
Directions:

First brown the hamburger and drain off the fat. Add 1 1/2 cups water, 1 cup uncooked macaroni, 1 can chopped tomatoes and 1/2 cup seasoning mix. Simmer covered 20 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Remove from heat and add 2 cups of grated cheese.

Chili Tomato Macaroni

Ingredients:

1 pound hamburger
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup uncooked macaroni
1 can chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup seasoning mix
1 Tablespoon chili powder
Directions:

First brown the hamburger and drain off the fat. Add 1 1/2 cups water, 1 cup uncooked macaroni, 1 can chopped tomatoes, 1 tablespoon chili powder and 1/2 cup seasoning mix. Simmer covered 20 minutes or until macaroni is tender.

Potato Casserole

Ingredients:

1 pound hamburger
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup uncooked macaroni
1 can chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon seasoning mix
5 or 6 medium sized potatoes, thinly sliced
Directions:

First brown the hamburger and drain off the fat. Add 1 cup water, 5 or 6 peeled sliced thinly potatoes, 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon seasoning mix. Simmer covered for 20 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir. Uncover and cook until excess water is evaporated.

4 1/2 cups dehydrated cheese SAY WHAT - another thing on this web site I have never heard of????? I won't eat processed cheese food like Velveta or cheese whiz, what is this stuff?? I am gaining such a plethera of info today. Enlighten me bangbang.
