Just wondering what some of your favorite food/beverage pairings are?

Baltic Porter or Russian Imp. Stout with a nice rich cheesecake?
Pale ale and Pepperoni Pizza?
A Peppery Red wine with a nice steak?

I like to drink milk when having spaghetti.

MMmm! I like really cold milk with out of the oven warm chocolate chip cookies.
I like hot cocoa with almond cresents.
Omegang Belgian beer with a good wurst and saurkraut.
A 1999 Stone Hedge Red Z with steak au poivre!
Sweetened brewed ice tea with homemade buttermilk fried chicken!

french toast with juice.
chili with milk.
cookies with milk (and cake, brownis etc... )

Shrimp Scampi or a Shrimp Cocktail with a nice glass of chilled Chardonnay.

*Mexican hot chocolate with a jalapeno bagel with cream cheese from Los Bagels in Arcata, CA
*Fresh squeezed OJ with any breakfast item or dish
*Peet's Coffee with deep dark chocolate cake. YUM!!

Next time, try champagne with fatty/salty appetizers; You'll be pleasantly surprised.
