My MIL brought me back a bottle of avocado oil on a recent trip to Australia. Any suggestions for its use? Thanks.

It will be an ultimate taste treat for vinaigrettes, and healthful monounsaturated oil.

I got a bottle of this too... can you use it for cooking anything, or is it better served as a salad oil??

It has one of the highest smoke points on the planet so it's great for high temperature frying.

I experimented cooking with salad dressing some years ago; long before the rich creamy ones came out. It does heat and you can fry foods. They are just weird tasting.
Everyone was doing something with salad dressing at the time (70's). I believe this is when "pink potato salad" became a recipe. I don't know if it was at this time when it was used on sandwiches or not.
