Known as the "Man of a thousand voices", Blanc created the voices for many well-known characters, including bugs, daffy duck, porky pig, speedy gonzalez, foghorn leghorn, pepe la pew, tweety, sylvester, and even barney rubble. He died in 1989.

His epitaph proclaims his best-known looney tunes sign-off:
"That's all, Folks!"
