I am making these for a bake sale at my sons school & a batch made with strawberry cake mix. They are very quick & easy plus the kids love them.
1pkg German chocolate cake mix w/pudding
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 stick margarine or butter, melted
1C. crisp rice cereal
Combine cake mix, egg, & butter. Add cereal; stir until well blended. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on greased cookie sheet. Dip a fork into flour & flatten cookies in a crisscross pattern. Bake at 350f for 10-12 minutes. Cool. (I used cocoa powder to dip the fork into for the chocolate cookies.)
