Hi there,

My mum has recently been telling me about an absolutely sensational concoction she used to make, and she calls it milk toffee. The only ingredients are milk and sugar and you cook (and stir it) for about 2 hours until it's all thick and gooey and apparently extremely delicious. The only problem is she can't remember the ratio of sugar to milk. Does anyone out there know? Has anyone made it? I'd love to let her know so she can make it, and of course, share it with me! ;)

Thanks, Mel

No, it's not, but thanks turtledove. That's the problem I'm having - all the recipes I can find have condensed milk in them - I need plain full cream milk and sugar.
