Help...The Wine Came To A Boil

I don't drink wine and the only thing I use it for is to baste my turkey. I was melting butter in the wine on top of the stove just now and it came to a boil while I was out of the room. Is it still OK or have I spoiled it?
 
for reductions you want to boil (or really a good simmer) your wine, so no harm done.

If you allow the wine to reduce a little before adding your butter, slowly, you'll have a wonderful sauce!
