Goat cheese mini balls

Hi everyone. This is my first post. I am excited to have found this message board! I love cooking, but I seldom come up with my own creations.. but I am hosting a book group meeting tonight and I want to serve something different... so this is the idea I have come up with.. I would love to hear any and all suggestions (especially if it sounds just plain awful)!

mixture of half goat cheese/have cream cheese

mix in 1/4 C. fresh minced mint leaves

combine 2 tbps. honey

roll into small balls and roll in toasted chopped walnuts.

Please give me any suggestions..?

Those sound very nice. I assume you are using soft goat cheese.

How are you going to serve them? As is or with crackers? Either way, I think the'll be yummy.

Hi! Thanks for your response. I think I will serve these little morsels with fresh strawberries, grapes and apple slices.. though I will walk though the cracker section at the store and see if there is anything that jumps out at me.

They sound delicious! Have you considered adding basil too? Just a thought.
