TRUTH !!
St. Catherine was tied to the gruesome torture device, but accounts vary as to whether she was actually rolled down a hill.
Some sources say that the wheel broke when she touched it, and that she was beheaded instead.
There is also some doubt that she really died a martyr.
However, she gave us the Catherine Wheel, the circular fireworks that emit colorful sparks as it spins round and round.
