Hello!

Tuesday Morning had an open stock of Tramontina SS cookware ranging from $20-$60. I bought the 5 qt cooker, hoping it is quality SS pot. Does anyone have experience or feedback for this SS brand? I think it looks almost like Tivoli but not sure if it has an aluminum core throughout the pot. Any thoughts?

I have a Tramontina 12-Qt. stockpot that has a disk on the bottom and a glass lid. It works well.

Dear h2oct,
Tramontina is a Brazilian brand originated in Rio Grande do Sul -Southernmost State of Brazil, mainly colonized by Italians and Germans-, their speciality is cutlery and their products are great (check if it is made in Brazil).
I noticed they sell a lot of made in China products in USA, I suspect they are average quality since they may use manufacturers that produce other brands.
