I do not know anything about it!
But sure am hoping someone here does!
My son spent some time over there, climbed the Kilimanjaro a few years back. He enjoyed the food and I've been trying to surprise him with some authentic dishes ever since.
Unfortunately couldn't find any info or recipes.
Could somebody help?
Thank you!:)

find out the region of Africa, then check Marcus Samuelson...he's written a book on crusines of Africa. Also check the old Time-Life series Foods of the World, they had a book on Africa with many recipes. The info is out there somewhere!

Tanzanian food is a lot like Kenyan food. Check out the African cooking section. You will find mahamri, ugali and a lot more foods that are cooked both in Kenya and Tanzania.

^ Most welcome mitmondol. Feel free to ask me which is Tanzanian and which is not.Uganda is a Landlock country so have different food, but Kenya and Uganda are more less the same hence the nearly same food.

I had to edit this last message because I spelt your username wrong. I hate spelling mistakes especially names! What does your username mean?
