Left over rare roast beef? I love it but hate to reheat it and cook it more, so I make sandwiches either for lunch or dinner.
I like a country style, wheat bread or nice sized french rolls.I mix up dijon and creme fraiche, salt and pepper and a couple of drops of vinegar and add it to watercress, washed dried and stems removed along with some red onion slices..I toast the bread, butter it, top one slice with the dressed greens then add several slices of the thin sliced beef and slices of tomatoe.. Sometimes we have a cold avocado soup or fruit salad with the sammies..both are so good with them

Yum. I like your idea a lot. We often have leftover steak from Neil's bar-b-cues, and I think this would be a great way to serve it the next day or so later. Kadesma, you have a great gift.

Thanks Sandy,
guess my parents teaching waste not want not still is in the back of my mind. Plus I love to play around trying to make something new to us.
