Was getting ready to make a loaf cake from the Domestic Goddess cookbook and saw that it called for self rising cake flour. Never having heard of self rising cake flour I googled it and ended up here. I love to cook and my family calls my kitchen the Queen's kitchen or Dottie's Diner. Am sure I will love this message board. Dottie from Ohio

where in Ohio

Hi, Middie
We live outside of Delaware, Ohio. Spend the winters in Palm Harbor, Florida. Was up early this morning baking Nigella's (The Domestic Goddess) Maderia cake. This was the recipe that led me to this site. Used plain Gold Medal self-rising flour and it was great. She also has the best brownie recipe ever- completely decadent. Dottie

Not sure where Deleaware is. I'm sure it's not close to me though.
