I usually shy away from fruit wines. I don't particularly like sweet wine. Tomasello Cranberry wine is terrific. I bought it on a whim.
You don't need to refrigerate it. The wine is quite tasty at room temperature. What you find is a slightly sweetened cranberry flavor, still quite tart and very pleasant. It is light, not syrupy and has a nice, dry feeling to the palate. For something different this holiday, give it shot.
This is not your run of the mill "fruit" wine. I will be keeping this on the rack for those times when I want a change of pace and at ~$8 a bottle... it's affordable.....
