I remember when I was a little girl in grade school and one day my teacher said that someone was out side on the playground waiting to see me. When I got out there it was my dad home on leave from the army. I remember running into his arms and crying. It wasn't long after that, that he went overseas for two years. So I know how that little girl feels. I thank God that he came home to us.

I don't remember my dad coming home from the Korean War but I do remember him returning from the Vietnam War and thanking God over and over for his safe return--I was 13...
