Hi Katie, These were "Holiday Fruit Cookies" , recipe from my ancient "Amy Vanderbilt Complete Cookbook" (40 yrs. old, perhaps!) First batch were delicious, if flat; DH fixed them; they LOOKED MARVELOUS! nuf said; DH is retired and does most of the cooking around here(I cook when the mood strikes). I like to cook but it's not "the-end -all- be- all" for me. I really like the feel of this site,though...maybe it will get me back into cooking more often...

By the way DH signed up here , too!
