This takes like 5 minutes to prepare and if you use a liner in your slow cooker there will be no messy potato pan to clean after dinner.

CHEESY BACON HASH BROWN POTATOES (SLOW COOKER)

5 cup(s) COUNTRY STYLE SHREDDED HASH BROWNS; Frozen.
2 cup(s) CHEDDAR CHEESE; Grated.
1 cup(s) MILK
1/2 cup(s) HALF AND HALF
1/2 cup(s) ONION; Chopped.
1 to 2 slice(s) BACON; Cut Up.
1 teaspoon(s) SALT
1 teaspoon(s) BLACK PEPPER

In a slow cooker, add potatoes, cheese, onions, salt, pepper and bacon.
Mix together well.
Pour milk and half & half over potato mixture.
Cover cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours.
Serves 4 to 6

Looks pretty tasty , how does the bacon turn out not cooked first ? Think I prefer it cooked. Thanks again for another one !!
 
Barb, if you are going to cook your bacon first, you need to save some of the grease to season the potatoes.
What I do when I make my baked beans is put the onions in a measuring cup, pour over the reserved bacon grease, and microwave the onions in it for about a minute.
Blue, the dish looks very tasty!
