12 large oranges to make 1.1 litre of orange juice, remove any pips or white bits
Juice of 2 lemons
1.6 kg of sugar
1 Camden tablet
1/2 tsp grape tannin
water
Wine yeast ( you'll find instruction on the packet)
Yeast nutrient

In the 1.1 litre of orange juice add cold water to make 3.4 litre
Pare the rind very thinly from 4 of the oranges and add this to the juice
Stir in the crushed Camden tablet, cover and leave for 24 hours
Dissolve the sugar in 1.1liter of boiling water, cool, then add to the orange juice together with the yeast and nutrient, the grape tannin and the juice of the lemons
Cover and leave to ferment in a warm place for 4 days, stirring twice daily
Strain the liquid into a fermenting jar, close off with an air-lock and leave to ferment on, racking when the wine begins to clear
Once all fermentation has ended and the wine is clear, bottle and store in a cool dark place to mature for at least 6 months

I dunno. If I leave orange jiuce in the refrigerator too long, it ferments all by it's lonesome.

I think Caine meant to say - Dodi, thanks for the recipe

This sounds very interesting! I bet it would make some great Sangria!!!! :chef:
