Brown a couple of pork chops, add a can of Golden Mushroom soup, some green pepper & onion, a cup of rice, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes. Green beans with bacon grease make a nice side dish.

I love the "other white meat". When I'm not grilling or frying the chops I too brown them, add a soup mix (cream of mushroom), rice, onions, a touch of something hot and I also put the green beans right in with everything else. I add some milk and some of the juice from the canned beans to soak into the rice while everything simmers. It's one of my favorite one pot meals. I use a saute pan.

I always make my rice on the side.... but I'll try it this way next time.
