ISO advice on coated carbon steel fry pans

yes it is a non stick coating

You do not need to season anything non-stick. Quite the opposite - the outside AND the inside you want to keep very clean. Clean the outside with something like Barkeeper's Friend and clean the inside with whatever the instructions recommended...something non-abrasive for sure!
