I am considering buying the Electrolux Gas Freestanding Range.
I'm interested in any information you can provide.

Miss Essie...Have you considered looking at a Consumer Report on ranges?? Local libraries have current as well as back issues. Often times one can gleen some helpful information.

the new electrolux line of ranges has gotten notice...Carter Oosterhouse put one in his home in Michigan for example. Several of their pro models are in kitchens at the CIA in Hyde Park NY.

Make sure you see one in action and know what it has and does not have as far as extras.

Maybe take a look at Bluestar gas ranges or the GE cafe series
