There's an old Hunts or Wesson recipe I used to have that called for steak sauce and tomatoes and it was served over noodles ... let me know if that tickles your fancy and I will dig out the cookbook (something about backs of boxes, jars, and so on). Tasty!

How about meatball soup?

Are they fresh, cooked, frozen ... ???

Make a supreme sauce and add a little nutmeg and bake for 45 minutes at 300*F
serve over noodels, add dill weed to supreme sauce and bake. very ummy

We had meatballs and spaghetti tonight, but I still have a baggie with more meatballs..DH has already put in an order for a meatball sub tomorrow for lunch..He likes a good sized soft roll, split, add meat balls, some cooked onion rings, shredded lettuce a mix of mayo, mustard and a little horseradish, mashed avocado, and provolone cheese, wrap in foil and heat til cheese melts and the meatballs are hot thorough out and enjoy..

I like meatballs in pita pockets with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, diced onions, & sliced cucumbers w tzatziki sauce (yogurt/dill/lemon juice) drizzled over the top.

Other ideas:

meatball soup, meatball on pizza. If meatballs are small , you can use it right on the pizza, if meatballs are larger, you can slice them in half . Meatball in macaroni and cheese.

Why not serve your meatballs with mushroom or carrot sauce.
Or leave them just plain and serve with a salad.

With pesto and ziti
With Alfredo sauce and ravioli
With mac and cheese
Drop into some baked beans (add elbow macaroni)
Make chili

I like Amy's idea about a falafel like sandwich except using meatballs instead of falafel.

To me there is little better than a meatball sandwich. Usually add a tomato based sauce but one can use others. Or add lettuce, tomatoes, any sorta stuff you want including mayo.

Also agree with Amy on soup.

A minestrone with meatballs would be great. Or in a pasta fagioli (pasta fazool).

A Polish type hunter's stew, a bigos, type of dish could include meatballs.

Just a few ideas, enjoy.

Looks very good Mama. Thanks for the recipe and the pictures.

I love meatballs !!
When I want a snack of appetizer I put KikkomanTeriyaki
Baste & Glaze in a small bowl and roll the cooked meat-
balls in it. I place the coated meatballs on a foil covered
broil pan and cook at 400 degrees, turning when each side
begins to bubble.
you could skewer these with pineapple in between and
cook the same. Cook down the canned pineapple juice and
some of the glaze combined to make a sauce and serve
over rice. Add minced garlic and ground ginger and you
have an original.

Sometimes with leftover meatballs, I cut them in large chunks, fry them up with potatoes, and add an egg at the end. Serve it up on a nice piece of bread.

That sounds excellent! Pineapple and teriyaki - heaven!!

elaine's idea sounds fantastic!

I was going to suggest some good ol' fashioned tortellini soup if you have the time and ingredients.
