Hard-Anodized stock pot burned

hi people
I got this 3.8L stockpot hard-anodized from Anolon Advanced. a very bad cooking attempt was conduted and food was burn and so the pot. I tried to clean the pot, however some burned substance remains stick in it .
what do you suggest, can it still be used?

well, something extra, this guy just ruined every pot and pan I got.He was sleeping was the pot was on the stove and fire was on, smoke was coming off when I was home.

Try putting some water in the pot (just and inch or so) them boil it for a few minutes and leave it to cool. The remaining burned on food should come off more easily.

If that doesn't work, put a splash of ammonia in the pot and cover it and leave it overnight then try again.
 
Yep, what Andy said. I have also placed a small amount of water in my pots, a healthy dose of kosher salt, and a bit of dishwashing liquid and brought to a simmer/boil. The action of the salt during the simmer process helps scrub the pot also.
