My DH loves carrots as do the kids..His favorite way is like this...
Take 1 lb. of carrots, peel and cut in diagonal slices. Cook covered in water that you add some brown sugar and salt to. About a Tab. of brown sugar..Cook til just barely tender.Melt 3-4 Tab. butter in a saute pan add 1 Tab. flour and mix...Add4 Tab. brown sugar,Stir in 1/4c. OJ..Add 1c. seedless red grapes and heat through. Now add 2 Tab. vodka heat through...Stir in cooked carrots, cook til coated with the glaze...Yummers so says DH..
