Greetings to all who love to cook, eat or both. I prefer to cook and watch people smile and ask for seconds. I do have a question. I don't bake very often, so how do I keep my baking powder fresh? There aren't many different size containers at the grocery store and therefore I never use it up before it loses something. Any suggestions?
Many thanks,
Judith

I keep mine in a ziplock bag in the pantry. I don't bake alot here either. Too Hot!
I suppose you could keep it in one of those glass or plastic rubber seal, snap shut type appothacary jars. Even walmart sells the plastic ones.
I purchased many, many years ago at Pier 1, but my local kitchen supply store still sells them in different sizes.
Mine say on the lid, made in France.

And welcome to the forum, b.

I'm a big fan of the freezer. Try a ziploc baggie, label it and throw it in.

Thank you all for your suggestions. And, thank you for the welcome. I'm sure I'll be visiting this site often because I love to cook! and I like to visit with people who have that in common. By the way, I'm not any kind of chef, I'm just a mother who likes to see her family happy. Thanks again, Judith
