I'm new and just wanted to say hello to all. I'm kind of new at this cooking thing but I'm learning lots as I go. I'm ashamed to admit that as my kids grew up, I never cooked much of anything unless it came from a box, a bag, or a can. As a result of a diet I went on (lost 113 lbs.), I decided to take up cooking as a hobby. I've been at it for about 1 1/2 yrs. now. So, please be patient with me as I may ask some rather silly questions, but also know that I'll be more than willing to help answer anything I can.
