I used to love this salad at a Jamaican place when they served on the side of all plates. It was a warm salad with mixed veggies, cabbage, I think spinach and was seemed to be cooked in a chicken stock maybe...any help?:unsure::unsure:

I think I know what youre talking about

My husband is from JA and he makes something like that

julienne 1 head of cabbage
grate or finely chop 2 medium carrots
dice 1 onion

Heat 1/4 c of oil - preferably coconut - margarine or butter on medium in a large skillet. Cook the vegetables until tender. Season while cooking with salt to taste, a little garlic powder, poultry seasoning, allspice, and curry. You can add a couple T. of ketchup and a dash of pepper sauce if you like for flavoring at the end.

You can also make veggie patties with this recipe (small handheld pies)
