Hello all,

I just found this forum and I'm hoping to learn a lot here. With the prices of food skyrocketing I want to cook more at home. I'm looking to learn how to make quick tasty inexpensive dinners for 2. I found that most of the cooking shows on TV are not for me. They come up with a dish and by the time I'm done getting the ingredients I have spent more than it would cost for a dinner out. I'd like to be able to come home and pull out some chicken, pasta, spices and make a quick blackened chicken Alfredo or even stir fry some stuff in a wok.
I like to cook and my wife LOVES to clean up!!!!

Thanks in advance for the help I'm going to get.

Good afternoon, and welcome to DC.
I'm sure if you look at the many catagories in the forum, you'll find tons of stuff to choose from.
Pick a food act., and look around.

welcome sik.

north shore or south shore? :)

i know what you mean about cooking at home being almost as expensive as eating out at times.

but your idea of wokking is a good one. you can feed 3 or 4 people on 2 chicken breasts and a few common veggies, a little stock, garlic, butter, soy sauce, and ginger.
