We had a bit of bad weather yesterday ... knocked over my 150 lb. hanging tomato bad. Lots of hail and rain. My poor garden looks like someone stomped all over it. My question is this ... my onion tops and carrot tops are broken. What would you do? Cut them off? Leave them to see what would bounce back and cut off what doesn't? I removed alot of broken stems from my squash and tomatoes. My rhubarb looks like someone used it for target practice ... ack.

Man, that's a bummer! I think everything will come out of it though, except your squash, and you still have time to replant that.
Constance, if the buds are still there on the squash base, unopened, do you think they will still bloom and grow? I would say each squash plant lost 50% of their leaf stems (not fruit stems - sorry, I misstated that in my original post).
Wart, the only solace I take in my rhubarb is that I was done picking, just letting it soak in the sun and nutrients for the rest of the summer.
