Hi, all. We went to brunch at a Turkish restaurant this morning and I ordered the Turkish-Style Breakfast. One item was a potato cake; the server said it was made with potatoes, onions, spinach, eggs and feta and mozzaralla cheeses. Does anyone have a recipe for this, or a similar one that might work?

I'm not sure if it was baked or fried. It wasn't oily at all, but it tasted delicious.

This sounds like something you will just have to make up and use those ingredients listed. I'd say it was friend but in a fairly dry pan. Were they a bit crusty or browned? If not, they very well could have been baked I guess.

Sorry, that was basically no help

I feel sure there was some flour in there too GG. Also, they were not greasy because the grease was hot enough and they were probably allowed to drain on a cooling rack versus paper towel. Keep those things in mind. Good luck - they sound spectacular!
