My daughter's wedding is coming up. Since we will be hosting many family members for that long weekend, I would like to start baking some cookies or something soon. Should I freeze the already baked cookies or should I freeze the dough? Never really made baked goods ahead of time.

One cookie I would like to make is Italian anise cookies so I would guess that I wouldn't frost them? Okay lots of questions...looking for lots of answers!

COokies freze great!! Bake them, then freeze.
I usually start my Christmas cookies in early Nov and become good friends with my freezer... just make sure they are airtight and no don't frost 'em first. :)
My BHG Christmas cookie mag I buy every year says most all of them can freeze up to 3 months.

:) Cookies freeze great. The sturdy ones like oatmeal and choc chip can be stacked and layed in sideways on the bottom of a gallon zip loc. The more delicate ones like Mexican Wedding Cakes/ Russian Tea Cakes can be layered in a plastic container between paper towels. Make sure cookies are completely cooled.
