Do you have custom orthotics ? How long did it take to get used to them ? Just got mine yesterday, very painful. I was told to wear them an hour a day , then 2 hrs and so on.

I've worn them for decades. It will take some getting used to, but it's much better in the long run. When I wear out a pair, the new ones make my feet sore for a few days, then it's smooth sailing.

Besides the foot help, it saves a lot of wear and tear on my back when I'm standing cooking for the big events like Thanksgiving. Orthotics make a big contritbution to that day being pleasant.

I had a pair for plantar fasciitis (sp).
But since I started a good stretching program for my
feet and legs, I don't have to wear them anymore.
YAY!
It did take a while to get used to them, that's for sure.

Ladycook- make sure you break them in like they said too or you can end up with other problems from over wearing them before your use to them. If they bother you that much you also can stay at a certian amount of time if they bother you that much. Ex-On the 3rd day instead of increasing them to 3 hours stay at 2 then start increasing again the next day.
