Can I freeze individual pumpkin cheese cakes with cream cheese frosting?

Sorry if this isn't the appropriate place to ask this question. I'm new to this and don't know exactly how to post a question.

The cheese cakes have been baked in the oven until set and then are supposed to be refrigerated for an hour before serving. I have not put the cream cheese icing on them yet.

I would freeze the cheese cakes without the frosting - then make the frosting when ready to use. The frosting will change texture when frozen.
