I'm hoping to make these tomorrow......has anyone tried them before??
Chewy Walnut Squares
1 Egg
1/4 ts Baking soda
1 c Brown sugar
1/4 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Walnuts; chopped
1/2 c Flour
Stir unbeated egg together with sugar and vanilla. Quickly stir in the flour, soda and salt. Blend in walnuts. Spread in greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes. Do not overcook. They should be soft in the center when removed from the oven. Cool in pan. Cut into 16-2 inch squares.
