We are wanting to do a shrimp boil for new years eve this year. We normally have about 30 people at my house. Half of them drunk. (not me) We always have alot of fun though.

Anyways, I know how to cook shrimp in the house and all. But we were wanting to do it outside this year. We have the big pot and all with the stand and gas and all that. (I cant remember the name of those things for like of me right now) anyways I had someone tell me to put some potatoes and stuff in there first and let them cook and then add the shrimp and the seasoning. Is this correct. And we will be cooking it all in water not grease.

Anyone have any opinions or better options on how I should do this?
