Do you ever make breakfast bagel sandwiches? A little toaster oven is great for that. The picture below is plain bagel with sliced tomato and smoked Gouda (I think).

in no mood for anything, but made a slimfast shake with frozen banana in it. was good and got the body going.

Kim fixed us bacon and eggs today, and I made the toast. It was very good.

We were going to just have a salad for supper tonight, but the son-in-law brought us some of his Italian Beef, which is really delicious, so we will do what we can do.

Weekend Breakfast Tradition

My husband and I like eating breakfast out on weekends. We go to the same local diner and meet our friends.
Saturday and Sunday only for us. I had one egg, toast and coffee.

MMMM... corned beef hash! That is something I haven't had for awhile! I'll have to have that soon!

This morning a had to clean up after a snow strorm and needed a lot of reserve energy so a made some biscuits, sausage gravy and eggs over easy with coffe and OJ. I still haven't had lunch

had a couple sticky buns made from crescent dough. and a big glass of 2% milk. i made them using splenda brown sugar in the glaze, so not to unhealthy

No real breakfast today - had a cup of delicious rich coffee on the patio, then went to work baking cookies and bread. Had a chocolate chip cookie (had to taste them) and just had a hunk of Italian bread slathered with butter hot from the oven. Oh, so good.

Cream cheese stuffed French Toast with strawberry compote, scrambled eggs, bacon and hot tea. Most delicious.
