Stopped in to get cat food. I walked past the meat counter and they had a mixed package of Pork (chops, country ribs, loin roast) for $.92lb!!! Just can't pass up nice quality pork for that price. I grabbed a 15lb package, brought home and re-packaged for freezing..

If you have a Marsh in your area.. don't wait.. go NOW...

A couple weeks ago at our grocery store chain, they advertised pork rib loin roasts, sliced for $.99 a lb. We picked up 12 and 16 lbs. Cut the meat off the bone, roasted the bones with a barbeque sauce to munch on. Ground the pork and froze in 1 lb containers. I can't pass up a fairly good deal.

Curious, what do you do with your ground pork? Sorry don't mean to high-jack thread. I also grind my own meat but have never done pork.

Mix it with venison or caribou, make italian sausage or breakfast sausage, brown it and use it in chili, use it in meatloaf, brown some for breakfast with eggs.:)
