I like to use canned thin sliced peaches during the winter months and spread the remaining leftover slices around the dumplings.

PEACH DUMPLINGS

2 can(s) CRESCENT ROLLS
PEACHES; Fresh Or Canned, Drained (2 15 Ounce Cans).
1 cup(s) BUTTER; Melted.
2 cup(s) SUGAR; For Fresh Or 1 Cup Using Canned Peaches.
1 can(s) (12 ounce) SPRITE
1 teaspoon(s) CINNAMON

Separate the crescent rolls.
Place one to two peach slice on each section and roll up beginning with the wide end.
Place in 9x13 pan.
Place melted butter and sugar together and stir together.
Add cinnamon.
Heat sugar butter mixture in microwave for 11/2 minutes.
Pour butter mixture over dumplings then pour Sprite over the dumplings.
Lay any remaining leftover peach along side of dumplings.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until brown.

This looks really good! My sister makes something similar with apples and Mountain Dew. We like peaches better so I'll have to give this a try.

Yes, it is a pretty popular recipe with many different ways to prepare. I like Sprite because I don't usually have Mountain Dew on hand. This is great when out camping and can be made in the dutch oven.
 
You really have my mouth watering! I never thought of using crescent rolls for peach or apple dumplings!

We always have Diet Mountain Dew on hand...it's sweetened with Splenda, so I thing it would work...what do you think?
