I need help cooking American-style dishes

hi all not been on this site for a bit now but i really need help i want to cook some true american style food as im sick and tired of uk food its dull and bland lol so can anyone tell me what there cooking and i can give it a try thanx

If you are looking for some foods that are definitely not dull and bland (and pretty much truly American), try some: Bar-B-Que ribs or brisket; Cajun seafood gumbo or some Cajun BBQ shrimp; Tex-Mex fajitas, nachos, chili, or enchiladas; some chicken and dumplings (yum!); or chicken-fried offerings such as chicken-fried steak or chicken-fried chicken........the list goes on and on .

Hi, zakk. Well, American-style food encompasses many cultures/cuisines, so I'd have to ask you what foods you prefer and then I or other members could suggest choices for you. The selections are dizzying. Give us some hints and we'll run with them.
