I'm embarrassed to post for help with this but I'm terrible with math. You see, I've been making nut milks and I'd like to get an approximate idea of how many calories per cup. It doesn't need to be an exact figure. Since I'm straining the milk from the meal I can't get an exact figure, so an approximation is good enough:

300 grams of walnuts = 2073 calories

If I add water and divide that into a 2 liter container and pour it out as one cup servings that makes how many calories? :chris:

2 Liters is roughly a half gallon or 8.45 cups. the most calories you could have is 2073/8.45= 245 calories per 8 oz. cup.

That's assuming all the calories from the nuts ended up in the 2 liters of water. It's probably less but I have no idea how much less.
