If you love both Cheddar and rye, like I do, you probably will enjoy this sandwich.
I take a c. of shredded cheddar mix in 2T. of finely chopped green onion a small can of chopped black olives and blend that with 1/2c. mayo,1 tea. Dijon,2 tea. curry powder or you can add to taste.Toast one side of a slice of rye bread, then turn it over, and put some of the cheddar spread on then broil til bubbly...Wonderful with Arugula, diced hard cooked eggs and thin sliced red onion with just evoo,red wine vinegar and salt and pepper...

Oh this can be a great appy, just cut the bread in to small rounds, toast and top and broil...
