ISO Stovetop to Oven Skillet

I am looking for a fry pan that can go from stove top to oven. I do not want non stick. Any recommendations?

AllClad has some specials on right now. American made and last a lifetime. If you want cast iron look to Lodge. If you want enameled cast iron look to Le Creuset. If you want something inexpoensive, head to a restaurant supply store and pick up a professional skillet for about $30. Good heavy aluminum.

You could buy a number of different sized cast iron pans for that price. I use mine stove top to oven a lot. But not for everything. I avoid cooking acids in cast iron if cooking will be more than say 10 minutes.

Otherwise, Tramontina will have a nice stamped base or clad skillet in that price range.
