Did yo know that the best Australian Wines are 1/3rd of the Price in the UK then they are in Australia.
Penfolds Bin 128 is $20 in the UK in Australia its $29.95. Shocked? Well The on in the UK is 2002 vintage and the one in Austrlia is 2007. Yep Ridiculous!

Government taxes? Here in Canada booze is way more expensive than in the U.S., even though our dollar is at par. Our government taxes the heck out of it. I think over 50% of the price we pay goes straight to the government.

Oh did I mention its almost impossible to get the 2002 vintage in Australia.

Its not almost impossible, its almost non existence! :)
If I want anything that old, I would have to in some way manage to sneak it out of the old man's cellar!
