Making dinner for six adults tomorrow evening and still don't know what to serve. May make a potato soup, and have bread and cheese to start. Not sure on what to serve for the main menu. Have a couple of picky eaters so fish is out of the question. There will definately be a salad in there too, but stuck on what the main dish will be. Anyone have any suggestions before I hit the grocery store? Thanks so much!!:ermm:

A roast of some kind? Beef or pork tenderloin? Ham?
Beef Stroganoff (using noodles, as you are starting with potatoes)?

Potato soup seems a little heavy for a starter. How about:

*avocado half on lettuce leaf with Catalina, Russian, or French dressing

*French Onion Soup topped with slice of French bread and Swiss cheese

*boneless rib roast
twice baked potatoes
haricots verts (whole baby green beans) sauteed with bacon and/or
baby carrots, with brown sugar and butter

*Cream puffs with chocolate filling, sprinkled with powdered sugar and garnished with shaved chocolate

Depending on how formal you are, I would suggest something in a slow cooker. I've been doing that a lot lately. My friends enjoy it and I get to join the party.
